Cable bill versus an IPTV subscription in Canada
Cable pricing varies by province and by promotion, and intro rates rarely last. But once the discount period ends, a mid-range TV package with sports, a PVR rental and the usual fees commonly lands somewhere around $90 to $130 a month. Over a year that's well above $1,000, before pay-per-view.

How to judge IPTV providers in Canada
There are a lot of sellers out there, and some disappear with a year of your money. These five checks sort the stable ones from the rest, whoever you end up choosing.
Can you test it first?
A real trial with the full lineup, not a demo with ten channels. Test at 8 p.m. on a weeknight, when overloaded servers show their cracks.
How do you pay, and who receives it?
Interac e-Transfer to a named Canadian recipient leaves a clear record. Crypto-only or gift-card payments protect the seller, not you.
Is there a written refund policy?
Read it before you buy. Vague promises like "satisfaction guaranteed" with no conditions usually mean nothing.

Four things to know before you subscribe
Your internet matters more than our servers
We can control what happens on our side. We can't fix a Wi-Fi router in the basement two floors away from the TV. Channel lists change
Individual channels can be added, moved or occasionally go offline for a while. That is normal across the industry. When it happens, a backup feed is usually available in the same category, and support can tell you where to look.
You'll use a third-party app
We don't make our own TV app. You'll use a well-known player such as TiviMate, IBO Player or a similar app, which some people find less polished than a cable box at first. Most get used to it within an evening, and many end up preferring the faster guide.

What internet speed do I need?
Around 25 Mbps for one HD stream is comfortable, and 50 Mbps or more if you watch in 4K or run several screens at once. Stability matters as much as speed, so a wired connection or a good mesh Wi-Fi system makes a real difference.
Are French-language channels included?
Yes. Québec and French-Canadian channels are part of every plan, along with French international channels. Our support team also works in French.
How many devices can I use?
A standard plan streams on one device at a time. Multi-screen plans cover two to five devices simultaneously, and each screen gets its own login, so they never knock each other offline, even in different homes.
What happens if something stops working?
