About us

A smaller TV company that answers its messages

IPTV Canada exists for a simple reason: Canadian TV bills have climbed for years, and much of what people pay for goes to packages, rentals and fees rather than to what they actually watch. We built a service that gives households the channels they care about, in English and French, on their own devices, without the contract.

What we believe

TV should be tested before it's bought. That's why every new customer can take a full 24-hour trial without a card. If the service doesn't hold up on your TV, over your internet, during your busiest evening, you should find out before you pay, not after.

One lineup is fairer than ten tiers. We don't hide sports or French channels behind add-ons. Everyone gets the same service; the only choices are how long and how many screens.

You shouldn't have to cancel anything. Plans are paid once and end on their own. There's no card on file and nothing renews without you deciding to renew.

Support is part of the product. Live TV fails at the worst moments: overtime, the final episode, the big fight. So people answer our WhatsApp and email at those moments too, in English and in French.

How we work

We're an independent IPTV service rather than a telecom company. We don't sell internet, install cables or rent boxes. Our job is the part in between: keeping streams available, organising a lineup that makes sense for Canadian viewers, getting new customers set up on whatever device they own, and fixing things quickly when they go wrong.

Payments come in by Interac e-Transfer, which keeps them traceable for both sides. Orders are activated by a person who checks each transfer against its order number, usually within an hour of it arriving.

Who uses IPTV Canada

Our customers are the people you'd expect: families who looked at a $120 cable bill and decided enough was enough; hockey fans who want every game without juggling three apps; bilingual households who want Québec television alongside English channels; newcomers who want news and dramas from home; and people with a cottage, a trailer or a winter rental who want their TV to come with them.

What we're careful about

We publish our terms, refund policy and privacy policy so you can read them before paying. We keep the personal information we collect to the minimum needed to deliver the service. We respond to copyright notices through a published process. And we write plainly about the things our industry tends to skip, including how Canadian law treats IPTV.
